Scarlett Hygienic Wall Cladding at Fort Dunlop

A familiar landmark to anyone travelling on the M6 in the Birmingham area, Fort Dunlop has undergone a major conversion from grubby tyre factory to ultramodern shopping, hotel and office complex.

Advanced Hygienic Cladding was chosen by Working Projects Ltd to install its easy-clean hygienic wall cladding system in the restaurant operated by 7dayCatering for two of Fort Dunlop’s occupants, Capita and Service Birmingham, which is part of Birmingham City Council.

Advanced’s standard white 2.5mm wall cladding was installed throughout the restaurant’s kitchen with a dramatic scarlet finish, from Advanced’s Spectrum range of coloured cladding, being selected to make a bold style statement in the front of house servery area.  Both cladding types are covered by Advanced’s 20 year warranty and feature fully sealed gasket trim systems, thermofold corners and fully bonded application.

Derbyshire based Catering Projects Ltd was responsible for the overall restaurant kitchen fit out and sister company Working Projects Ltd specified Advanced’s products to ensure the highest hygiene standards could be met.  Gary Chance, Working Projects’ Operations Director, is delighted with the result and said:

The restaurant is not open to the public or other Fort Dunlop occupants, instead catering exclusively to Capita and Service Birmingham’s visitors, employees and their guests.
