With 25 years experience as wall cladding specialists, and with a key focus on food hygiene and the medical and pharmaceutical sectors, BioClad is attracting new business from across the globe. The development of BioClad’s PVC hygienic wall cladding panels in 2008 raised the bar in providing wall cladding systems with proven hygiene technology, and the company’s decision to exhibit at Arab Health 2016 reflects the massive growth in the provision of state of the art of medical facilities throughout the Middle East.
The use of BioClad versus competitive cladding systems is especially important in critical areas, such as operating theatres, isolation units, and clean rooms, but we are also finding that our customers prefer to use the products more widely in order to interrupt the breeding cycles of a range of microbes including bacteria, fungi, protozoans, and other micro-organisms. BioClad is also used widely in pharmaceutical laboratories, in commercial kitchens in both the public and private sectors, and increasingly in sports changing rooms and showering facilities.
Dubai has long been the fulcrum for British business in the markets of the Middle East. This year’s Arab Health had a strong presence from companies Yorkshire and Humberside, exhibiting together on a pavilion hosted by leading Healthcare Technology support organization Medilink. Arab Health is held annually in Dubai’s International Convention & Exhibition Centre and showcases more than 4,000 companies to around 130,000 healthcare professionals from 163 different countries.
Our team at this year’s show included BioClad’s International Sales Director Andy Newbould, and our Specification Consultant for Major Projects, Ben Piercy. They were joined by our long-standing representative Hayder Al Nashie and Arthur Hamilton from TRADS Inc. who have both introduced important new contacts to the business. Andy believes the exhibition was a major stepping stone in developing the company’s network in the Middle East: “It was a huge commitment to exhibit at Arab Health this year, and we always felt that having a full team presence there would be key in unlocking this vitally important market over the next few years.”
