BioClad visits The Palace as Queen’s Award for Enterprise winner 2017

The Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2017 acknowledges BioClad’s growth in exporting since broadening horizons into international trade in 2011. With global sales accounting for 25 per cent of BioClad’s turnover, foreign markets include Australia, Canada, India, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Mexico and Australia.

Honours List

To mark the outstanding achievements of businesses across the UK, every year the Queen hosts a reception at Buckingham Palace to celebrate the Queen’s Award for Enterprise (2017).

The Queen’s Award for Enterprise champions innovation, international trade, sustainable development and promoting opportunity through social mobility.

As winner of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2017 for International Trade, BioClad’s Director Lindsay McKenzie headed to The Palace.

Lindsay said: “ It was an honour to not only meet Her Majesty and The Duke of Edinburgh, but to celebrate BioClad’s business achievements in a room of outstanding organisations and other worthy winners. We felt in great company which was a real mark of our success.”
