GRAHAM group recently handed over the first phase of the £28m Raigmore Hospital Critical Services Upgrade (CSU) to NHS Highland.
The new ward areas for acute medical assessment, medical high dependency, surgical high dependency and intensive care are complete and plans are in place for patients, staff and equipment to move into their respective areas during June and the beginning of July.
Specified at the design stage Bioclad’s white antimicrobial wall cladding along with BioArmis wall protection including bump rails and corner guards were installed through-out this recent healthcare scheme.
Within the Ultra Clean CSU project, white antimicrobial system was fitted to the internal walls using our welded joint framework.
BioArmis wall protection was installed within the walls and adjacent corridors to protect the design of the building with its anti-scratch and antimicrobial finish.
Furthermore, ensuites, toilets and shower spaces were also areas that were fitted with BioClad’s easy clean, water tight system as part of the project refurbishment scheme.
Due to this highly sensitive environment, BioClad’s proven antimicrobial protected system was recommended and expertly installed by Bioclad premier installer Wellcoat Joinery.

The new department of critical care offers a first-class modern environment for staff to deliver high quality critical care services for the patients of the North of Scotland.
